Program/University Overview:
Seville, a beautiful and ancient city on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, is known for its Moorish palaces and renaissance gardens, flower-decked patios, paintings, statues, flamenco dancing and music. The Center for Cross-Cultural Study (CC-CS) facilitates a true cross-cultural exchange by inviting students to expand their world-view through intense immersion into the Spanish culture. The Center is housed in two turn-of-the-century mansions in the heart of Seville's commercial and social center. CC-CS is a short walk from the University of Seville, and some of Spain's most glorious and historic sites, including the Catedral and Giralda (the symbol of Seville), the Torre del Oro, the Alcazar palace, many museums and the beautiful Guadalquivir River. Seville is also located within an hour and a half of the Costa del Sol and its sunny beaches.
