Unique Aspects of Program:
The first two weeks in Spain will be an orientation which will take place in one of the Carlos III campuses located in the mountains above Madrid. It consists of an intensive language program directed by a team of young and dynamic language teachers, in order to prepare the students for the university courses as well as everyday life in Spain.
The SMC group will attend a variety of activities, including movies, concerts, theatre performances and Real Madrid games. These activities will help you live and understand daily life in Spain. They form part of the program and, as such, they are awarded by a 0.25 credit.
Throughout the program there will be excursions to some of the most important cultural and historical places in Spain, always in company of professional guides or historians. This includes the historic cities of Toledo, Segovia, Granada, and sites such as El Escorial and La Granja.
