Course description:

  • 45 Hrs. of Intensive Spanish Language Classes (small groups)
  • 20 Hours of Integrated Mexican Studies including lectures on Mexican History, Culture and Traditions, Intercultural Awareness, as well as Communicative Activities
  • 45 Hours of first-rate field trips, including:
    • Pyramids of Teotihuacan and the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe
    • Historic Downtown Center – Cathedral, Templo Mayor and National Palace with Diego Rivera murals, including a panoramic view of Mexico on the doubledecker Turibus
    • Colonial Coyoacán and Frida Kahlo Museum
    • Floating Gardens of Xochimilco and Dolores Olmedo Museum
    • Museum of Anthropology and Chapultepec Castle
    • Cuernavaca and ruins of Xochicalco - overnight trip
    • Colonial city of Puebla and pyramid of Cholula – overnight trip
    • Use of campus facilities
    • Housing nearby with selected Mexican families (Including two meals a day)

Prerequisites:
At least one semester of Spanish.

$1,950 – Including housing
